Rekhu Assistant 0.11 is ready to resell, with files and a locked web lookup

Rekhu Assistant is the assistant you build into your own app and sell to your own customers. rekhu/assistant-laravel 0.11.0 adds what reselling needs, and a lot of what print and production software needs.

Charge your customers your way

• Usage per answer. After every answer the app gets an event with the model, the tokens of all its model calls and the actions it ran. Charge a plan's credit, count against a limit, or keep your own usage table, per answer.
• The model per plan. Your app picks the model for each answer, for example a fast one on the basic plan and the best one on the top plan.
• Chats of their own. One app, several chats: a marketplace chat next to the main one, each with its own task and only the actions it needs.
• Your own cards. A price with its delivery options, a wizard step with "choose for me", a choice of products: your actions return cards of your own kind, and your chat panel draws them.
• Your own conversation store. Keep conversations in your own tables, with a list in your own panel.

Files in the chat, made for print

Users attach PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF, JPG, PNG and SVG files, lists and documents, or a zip of them, which is unpacked safely. For every file the assistant knows:

• for a PDF, its pages, page size, trim and bleed box, and whether it is locked;
• for a picture, its pixels, resolution, the size it prints at and its colour mode.

It also looks at small pictures and PDFs itself. When an action takes an upload, such as attaching artwork to an order, the assistant hands it the file exactly as a form would.

The internet, locked to your sites

The assistant can search and read pages, but only on the sites you name. It only reads: no cookies, no logins, no forms, never an address inside your network. There are limits per answer and per user a day, and what a page says is treated as information, never as an instruction.

The widget 0.6.0 has a paperclip, drag and drop, and your own cards. Update with composer update rekhu/assistant-laravel.
