New pages in the site's own layout
A new page now starts as a copy of the closest page of the site, with the same layout, fonts and colours. Rekhu Builder first asks which page it should look like, and clients always get a preview link they can open.
When someone asked for a new page, Rekhu Builder could build it from scratch, and on an Elementor site that page did not look like the rest of the site. A new page now follows the site's own pages.
First the question
When a request does not say which page the new one should look like, Rekhu Builder first asks, with clickable options: two or three pages of the site that come closest, and from scratch in the site's style. It builds after the answer.
Then a copy of the closest page
The new page starts as a copy of the chosen page. That gives it the same title band, sections, spacing, fonts, colours and buttons. Then Rekhu Builder:
- changes the texts, pictures and links in place;
- takes any extra section the new page needs from a similar section elsewhere on the site;
- removes every section the new page does not need. A copy of the home page never becomes a second home page.
Before answering, it reads the page once more to check that everything on it belongs to the new page, and it says which page it copied.
A page from scratch is built only when someone asks for a new look, and it still uses the site's fonts, colours and buttons.
A preview link a client can open
After a client's change to a draft, the answer always carries a preview link that opens without a WordPress login. An address that would show the client a "page not found", such as WordPress's own preview or the editor, is replaced with it. This needs Rekhu Builder 0.9.46 on the site.
