The SEO audit reads your whole site, and the builder fixes all of it
Rekhu Builder 0.9.53 audits every public page of a WordPress site by group, in the background for big sites, and fixes titles, descriptions and alt texts in bulk, then checks its own work.
An SEO check that reads the home page and a handful of others misses most of a site. Fixing one page per step, without checking the result, leaves the rest for someone else to find.
Rekhu Builder 0.9.53 reads the whole site and fixes the whole site.
Every public page, by group
The audit first reads the site's index: every address its sitemaps list, grouped as pages, products, posts, categories and the site's own types. Then it reads every one of them, and follows links to pages the sitemaps leave out.
A small site is done in under a minute. A big one is read in the background: the SEO tab shows how far it is ("340 of 1,120 pages · Posts"), and you can leave the page. When it is done, the tab shows each group with how many pages need work and what is most common there.
It checks more than before:
- broken links, and the pages that link to them;
- redirects in menus and sitemaps;
- canonical links that point elsewhere;
- files loaded over http on an https page;
- the page language;
- subheadings on long pages;
- pictures for shared links;
- Product data on product pages, Article data on posts, structured data that does not parse.
Pages kept out of search on purpose, such as tag and archive pages, are no longer counted as errors. A page in the sitemap that is also hidden from search is flagged, because only one of the two can be right.
The score now weighs how many pages an issue touches. Fixing it on more pages always shows, and a big site is not marked down for being big.
Fix everything, in one go
Fix everything with the builder on the SEO tab hands the whole audit to the builder:
- Titles and descriptions for every page, product and post, each written from that page's own content, the right length and different from the others. Up to 50 per step, written where your SEO plugin reads them: Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress, The SEO Framework or All in One SEO. A site without an SEO plugin gets them from Rekhu Builder itself, with the tags for shared links.
- Alt texts for every picture without one, up to 100 per step, saying what each picture shows. Pictures that already have alt text keep it.
- Headings, broken links and redirects, and the SEO plugin's settings.
- A check: the fixed pages are read again, and what is still wrong is fixed.
- A report: the score before and after, what was fixed in each group, and what is left with who does it (the host, the writer, the developer).
On a live site you get one sentence about the whole batch before it starts, not a question for every page.
The builder also keeps the site's title pattern and brand line, so the next run writes in the same way.
Update the plugin from your Rekhu account, or let your site update it by itself.
