Clients see only their own chats and files
A client and the people they invited now see only the chats, schedules, site changes and files of their own side, and each side chooses which files to share. Chats get a clear switch for who sees them, and mails from Rekhu have a new header and footer.
Clients you invite into a project now have a space of their own in it.
Their own chats
- A client, their colleagues and their reviewers see only the chats their side started. The agency's chats stay out of their view, the shared General chat included.
- The first time a client opens a project, a chat is made for them. New chats they start are shared with their own people.
- Messages from a client go only into their own side's chats. A message into one of the agency's chats is refused.
- You see the client's chats too, unless they set one to Only me.
Their requests and what they cost now stay apart from the agency's own work, both on screen and in the monthly CSV.
Files: private until shared
Each side keeps its own files in the project:
- Files you add stay with your team. The client never sees them, and Rekhu Builder does not use them when the client asks something.
- Files the client adds stay on their side. They can share one with you, and it then shows in your list as From the client.
- Under each of your own files, a switch turns sharing with the other side on or off. A shared picture carries a small mark. You can only remove your own side's files.
Who sees a chat
The top of a chat now has a switch: Only me or Team (for a client: Your people). Rename, clearing the history and removing the chat are in the menu next to it.
Their own schedules and changes
The Schedules and Activity tabs work the same way. A client's side sees the schedules its people made and the changes its own requests made on the site, never the agency's.
A new look for mails
Mails from Rekhu now show the two signs of the name beside the word, without the frame. The footer lists:
- the website, the docs, the privacy policy, the terms and the contact address;
- the company behind Rekhu, with its registration and VAT numbers;
- a short note that the mail is meant only for the person it is addressed to, and that Rekhu never asks for passwords or payment details by e-mail.
