What each client may do, right by right
The checkbox "May change the live site" becomes twelve rights you give each client, with three presets. Clients add content within your design; design stays yours unless you give it. Rekhu Builder 0.9.51.
You built the site; your client fills it. Under Clients → Change you now decide what each client may do, right by right, instead of one checkbox:
| Right | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Edit content | Text, pictures, videos and links of existing pages and articles |
| SEO fields | SEO title, description, focus keyword, alt texts, categories and tags |
| New pages and articles | As a copy of an existing page; the chat asks which one to follow |
| Place under existing menu items | Add a published page under a menu item that exists |
| Publish new pages and articles | Put their own new pages and articles live |
| Change existing live pages | Change a published page without a draft in between |
| Menus, Page design, Site design, Forms, Schedules, Remove | What they say |
Three presets start you off: Content, Content + publish and Full (like you). Users, plugins, WordPress updates, site settings and backups are never a client's.
Your design stays yours. Without Page design, the site itself refuses styling from a client's chat: a heading's text changes, its colour, size and spacing do not; sections keep their layout. A new page is a copy of an existing one: the chat proposes where it goes ("under Education?") and which page it follows ("like the Treatments page?"). Whatever a client asks beyond their rights goes to you as a request.
Clients keep what they could do: "May change the live site" became Content + publish, the others Content. Rekhu Builder 0.9.51 enforces content-only edits and adds menu-add-item; update it on the project's Connection tab.
