4 changes- Backups from the chat and the account. The backup tool makes a full backup (database and wp-content: themes, plugins, uploads) or a database backup, in the background so a large site is not cut off; it is kept on the site in a folder with a random name that the web server refuses to serve, and the newest three stay. Caches, other backup plugins' archives and upgrade leftovers are left out.
- Restore with backup-restore, in two steps: first it says what goes back, from which date, and what is lost; it only restores after the developer confirmed that backup by its date. A database backup of the site as it is now is made first, so a restore can be undone. The connection with the account and Rekhu Builder itself are kept as they are. Files the web server may not write are counted and named in the answer, never skipped in silence.
- When UpdraftPlus is active, its backups are listed too, and a backup can be started there with its own remote storage; those are restored in UpdraftPlus.
- core-update offers "back up, then update", and runs the backup first when that is chosen.
